2010-11 Madrona  Yearbook photographers needed!

Come join the 2010-11 Madrona Yearbook Staff and be the record-keepers of our year.  Yearbook/photography is now being offered as a club, rather than an elective class. Students participating in the club will be Madrona yearbook staff members, including photographers, design & copy editors and business managers. Although no photography, computer or graphic design experience is need, staff members should be enthusiastic, motivated and responsible for meeting deadlines. Teacher approval is required, since staff photographers cover events during the school day both in and out of their regularly assigned classes. (Yearbook staff members are needed to cover various after-school events such as sports, instrumental music, math & book fair, Bear Scare, etc.)

Selected staff members will meet Monday, Wednesdays and most Fridays from September 15 – mid December. A winter and spring session will be offered (yearbook deadline is the end of March), with preference given to students who have enrolled in prior session offerings.

Out of class projects will include taking photographs for purpose- including specific subjects, compositions or shot techniques. Staff members are encouraged to work on their assigned yearbook pages outside of class (online access via computer) as the deadline to the yearbook approaches.

Look for the Fall Enrichment Course offerings sign-up sheet posted to the Bear Facts web site.  A required Yearbook Staff Application Form must be submitted with sign-up signer download from www.madronatechnology.com  (parent and teacher consent required).  Forms due by Friday September 10th
